What are add-ons?

If you’ve seen the Kounta Add-on marketplace, you’ll know that the choices are plenty. However, there are several types of add-ons you will encounter. Add-ons are classified based on what they do and how they function.

Kounta Add-ons

These were built by Kounta. A lot of these add-ons are for supercharging your business. Need to track your wastage, discounts, staff hours or want an easier way to add that public holiday surcharge?

Then let me tell you a story...

Food Trippin' with his family has always been a tradition for Sam’s birthday. What he didn’t know was that Kounta was there every step of the way.

1. The first stop was an Asian fusion food truck in the CBD. Sam approaches and shares it’s his birthday. The food truck owner wanted to give him 5% off and was able to do so with just one tap. Kounta Adjustment Add-on

2. Next stop: a themed restaurant. Tables 1 and 2 had to be joined to seat all twelve. The waitress takes out her iPad and sees the restaurant layout visually. She joins together both tables under one order. Kounta Tables Add-on

If you’re a developer (or know someone who is), you can write your own add-ons extra-personalised for your business. Enquire about becoming a developer today.

Enable add-ons

Add-ons make life easy. So now that you’ve made the awesome decision to add on the add-on, here’s how:

Please check whether the add-ons you need are available on you Kounta Plan

1. Head to the Add-on page in the Kounta back office 

2. Find the add-on/s you need (hint: they’re in alphabetical order - how else would you find them?)

3. Once you've selected your Add-on, Select Enable

Disable add-ons

Thanks for giving the add-on a try. If it’s not what you need then you can disable it at any time - or give our Support Team a shout if you’re not quite sure you have it setup correctly.

1. From the Add-on page in the Kounta back office, you will see that all your enabled add-ons are highlighted - Select the one you wish to disable.

2. Then, simply select Disable

3. Confirm that you really do want to disable this add-on

Add-ons are included with different Kounta Plans - so check if this one is already included with yours.
