What it does

The Time and Attendance add on allows you to manage what users are using the POS at any given time as well as tracking Start Times, Breaks and Finish Times. This then becomes an easy to read timesheet.
This information can also be used to power integrations like Deputy and Tanda.

 


Suitability

Time and Attendance is suitable for all businesses that have staff members 

For Example:

  • Cafe/s 
  • Restaurant/s 
  • Retail Store/s

Enabling the Time and Attendance Add On

  1. Go to Sites

  2. Select the relevant Site

  3. Go to Add Ons

  4. Select Time and Attendance

  5. Tap Enable

 


How it Works

When you first load up your POS you will be see two options on the left

Active Users
This shows the current list of users who have 'Started' their shift

All Users
This shows all of the users who have been linked to that site

 

Starting your Shift

  1. Tap on All Users

  2. Select your User

  3. Enter your 4 digit PIN

  4. Tap Start Shift

  5. You will be taken into the sales screen

 

Starting your Break

  1. Tap on All Users

  2. Select your User

  3. Enter your 4 digit PIN

  4. Tap Start Break

 

Ending your Break

  1. Tap on All Users

  2. Select your User

  3. Enter your 4 digit PIN

  4. Tap End Break

 

Ending your Shift

  1. Tap on All Users

  2. Select your User

  3. Enter your 4 digit PIN

  4. Tap End Shift

 


Reporting on Shifts

To get a summary of each shift worked follow these steps

  1. Go to Back Office

  2. Tap Reports

  3. Select Attendance

  4. Enter any filters as desired

Note: You can also see unfinished shifts from this page as well.
