Kounta POS is equipped with everything your business needs to grow - even in the online space!
First thing to consider: Does the delivery service you’re using (or plan to use) have a native integration with Kounta? Check out our list of third-party delivery services that can be integrated with Kounta.
Yes, my chosen delivery service is a Kounta integration partner.
Splendid! If you use a delivery service provider that has Kounta integration, it means the payment type will be created automatically after set up and ready for use - you’re all set.
No, the delivery service does not have Kounta integration yet.
Fear not! You can still use these delivery services. But keep in mind, the workflow will be slightly different.
While the integration with Kounta is not yet available for your chosen delivery service, there’s an easy workaround that will allow you to record the payments on Kounta so that it’s included in your end-of-day takings and on your payments report.
So now for the solution: you’d need to create a payment type specifically for the delivery service. First, follow the steps in this guide on how to create a payment type.
Note - Delivery services that are not integrated with Kounta would only need one payment type per delivery service because all payments would be handled and aggregated by the delivery service - whether its credit card, cash, PayPal, and etc.
Finished creating the payment type for your delivery service? Awesome. Now, here’s how you’ll use it:
1. After you receive the order via the delivery service interface, enter the order on Kounta POS.
Note - Remember to set the order type to “Delivery” if you have the Order Type add-on enabled
2. Once the order is paid, select Check Out and choose the payment type that you made for this delivery service.
