How does it work?
Customers place their order via Bopple’s native app or web-based marketplace. Once the order is finalised it’s sent to the POS which once accepted, Kounta automatically requests a driver from the fulfilment partner who collects from your store and delivers to the customer.
As a merchant, how do you manage the status of an order?
Anytime the order is moved to a new status in Kounta the customer is notified. Once the order has been picked up you can monitor the order status in orders history. Drive Yello provides the customer with a tracking link for the driver via text message.
How much does it cost to set up?
There are no additional Kounta costs to get you set up on Delivery. Bopple has its own setup and subscription costs. To help financially, the $299 setup fee and first 3 months of your Bopple subscription will be waived.
How much does each order cost you the merchant?
Kounta Delivery fees are simple:
- $13.50 fixed delivery fee for deliveries within 4km
- 5.9% transaction fee

How much should I charge my customers?
You can choose how much you would like to charge your customer. We have seen merchants charge anywhere from $9-$13.50
How much do the drivers get paid?
Around 80% of the delivery fee goes to the driver, the rest is dedicated to maintaining the technology and the logistics to support and coordinate the network.
What is the delivery radius?
It is a maximum of 4km
How do the funds flow from the customer to you?
Bopple will collect the total order value from the customer and remove the delivery and transaction fees before depositing funds to you.
Do I need a bank account?
You’ll need a bank account connected to a Stripe account, and you’re good to go.
What customer data is shared with the merchant?
The merchant will be provided with the customer’s name, mobile, email and address.
Can you market your product to customers you’ve acquired through ‘Delivery’?
Yes! You own your customer data!
Will I need any additional devices?
Nothing!! This is totally integrated with Kounta POS so no need for another tablet!
What contact details are provided to the customer?
The merchant’s landline phone number and email are provided to the customer in Bopple.
What happens if the customer cancels the order?
Once an order has been collected by the driver, the order can no longer be cancelled.
What happens if the delivery is damaged or too slow?
The DriveYello driver is required to cover the product cost to the merchant. Kounta will reimburse the merchant for any delivery fee the merchant has been charged. The merchant will refund the customer or provide the customer with a coupon to re-order via Bopple.
What happens if the order is incorrect or insufficient quality?
The merchant will refund the customer or provide the customer with a coupon to re-order via Bopple.
How does the merchant provide the customer with a receipt?
Bopple will provide a receipt to the merchant provided they have a complete profile in Bopple including ABN / tax number for customer receipts via the ordering partner.
Who is responsible for packaging?
You will need to package items in a way that is appropriate for travel.
How do I set my preparation time?
For the pilot, we have this pre-set to 20 minutes.
How do I get set up on Bopple?
Bopple can be set up in under 30 minutes. Bopple consumes Kounta’s online products and our team is available to assist and optimise your store over a video/phone call. This guide here will help you to get started:
