Setting up Lightspeed iPad Stands

The Lightspeed iPad stands combine sleek design and device protection. Each stand is designed for stability and features a modern appearance, along with a magnetic swivel base for customer interaction during checkout. Additionally, all stands support USB-C cables, with integrated charging built into the stand, ensuring convenient power access for your POS device. The lineup of stands includes the Lightspeed Stand for iPad, and the Universal Stand for Tablets.

Lightspeed Stand for iPad

The Lightspeed Stand for iPad is available in the United States and Canada. This stand is compatible with newer iPad models (without Home buttons and with larger screens):

  • iPad 10th generation
  • iPad Air 4th and 5th generations*
  • iPad Pro 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations*
  • iPad Pro 5th and 6th generations

*requires the use of included spacers, which should be adhered onto the enclosure before setting up the stand.

  1. If using iPad Air 4th and 5th generations or iPad Pro 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations, adhere the included spacers to the enclosure.
  2. Connect the USB-C power cable to the opening of the base.
  3. Plug the USB-C power cable to a power source (USB 20-watt power adapter provided with your iPad).
  4. Rotate the USB-C connector to its up position.
  5. Place the iPad onto the USB-C connector and slowly push the iPad into the connector until you feel it seated correctly. Look for the lightning bolt icon to confirm your iPad is charging.
  6. Position the iPad into the enclosure.

  8. Press firmly around the edges to ensure the bezel is securely attached.

Universal Stand for Tablets

The Universal Stand for Tablets is available in the United States and Canada. This stand is compatible with iPad 9th Generation and older models and other tablets.

  1. Turn the base to the desired position to enable 180° rotation.
  2. (Optional) If stand rotation is not desired, turn the base so the cable is routed to the right.
  3. Secure rotation by screwing in the locking screw.
  4. Feed the cable through the stand, ensuring the 180° connector remains at the top.
  5. Check the length of the cable to ensure it reaches the tablet port without excess.
  6. Push the cable into the S-slot on the underside of the base, making sure to maintain the correct cable length.Cable runnning through the S-slot
  7. Secure the stand to the mounting surface using the base adhesive or wood screws.
  8. Remove the film from one side of the tablet adhesive to mount the tablet in either portrait or landscape mode.
  9. Attach to the tablet connector plate, with the pull tabs hanging off.Pull tabs hanging off the tablet adhesive
  10. Remove the film from the other side of the adhesive.
  11. Place the tablet connector plate in the center of the tablet, with the cable channel facing the tablet charge port.Portrait and landscape views of the tablet connector plate
  12. Plug the cable into the tablet.
  13. Place the tablet onto the stand, maneuvering the cable into the channel.Plugging in the tablet and placing it in the stand
  14. (Optional) To lock the tablet to the stand, push the locking pin through the hole in the top of the stand. The pin can be removed using a thin pin or a paper clip.
